Gluten-Free Vanilla Cake

Ingredients of the Vanilla Cake

  • 1 stick unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups Pamela’s Gluten-Free flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1-1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Creation of the Vanilla Cake

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F and  spray two 9-inch  pans non-stick spray.
  2. Whisk together flour, baking powder and salt.
  3. Beat together butter and granulated sugar with a mixer on medium speed until combined, 1 to 2 minutes.
  4. Add eggs and beat well.
  5. Gradually add flour mixture, beating until combined.
  6. Add milk and vanilla and beat until just combined.
  7. Divide batter between pans. Bake  for 33-35 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let cakes cool in pans for 15 minutes.  Turn out cakes onto racks to cool completely.
